This is a reminder that the 2023 Community League Registration Deadline is TODAY, Friday April 14, 2023. Here are the steps to assist your Association in registering for the upcoming Community League Season:
Association Registration Form (Friday April 14, 2023) - In 2023 Associations are required to be registered with Baseball Alberta prior to the registration of teams in any of the Baseball Alberta AAA/AA/A/Community League/Fall Ball Leagues. Once an Association Registration Form has been received, the Association will be added to the Community League Team Registration Form as an option. Please allow for one business day for this to be completed. Associations with Community League only teams would need to have this submitted by Friday April 14, 2023. If an Association has already registered AAA or AA teams, they will appear in the Community League Team Registration Form and there is no need to submit a second Association Registration Form.

Please see the Baseball Alberta Fine Implementation information below for more information.
Community League Roster Form (Monday May 8, 2023) - With the Spordle transition not yet completed, Baseball Alberta is asking Community League teams to submit their roster, including coaches and off field managers if applicable, to programs@baseballalberta.com with the provided forms located on each league’s page. Rosters need to be sent with these forms and please send them in the Excel format:
CABL Roster Form - CUB League Roster Form - ERRBL Roster Form - YEGA League Roster Form -
The Baseball Alberta office will input these rosters into Spordle when the platform is ready. Roster must be submitted by Monday May 8, 2023, which is the first day of the Community League season.
Contact Sheets For Leagues - Baseball Alberta will create League Contact Sheets for each Community League and send out links to these League Contact Sheets to coaches and main contacts. Contact information from the Community League Team Registration Form will be used to populate the contact sheets.
Schedule/Standings/Score Entry - This season, Baseball Alberta has transitioned to the Spordle platform and is no longer partnered with the TeamSnap or RAMP platform at the provincial level. Baseball Alberta encourages Associations to continue to use TeamSnap and/or RAMP as their Association level platform. Baseball Alberta will produce the schedule and standings on the Baseball Alberta website for the season.
Baseball Alberta is currently in the process of having the Spordle Play side of the platform developed and teams/associations will receive score entry instructions closer towards the beginning of the season.
Baseball Alberta Fine Implementation (2023) - As discussed and approved by the Baseball Alberta Board for the 2023 Baseball Alberta season.
Associations will be subjected to a $500 fine per infraction for the following reasons:
Entering a team into a Baseball Alberta league after the team entry deadline. Teams will not be permitted to enter a league more than a week after the team entry deadline for any reason.
Changing blackout dates or availability of your team entry forms after the team entry deadline. Changes will not be accepted after a final schedule is released.
Withdrawing a team entry from the league after the team entry deadline at any point until the end of the season. This includes teams withdrawing from the Provincial Championships without indicating they will not participate before the Team Entry Deadline.
Failing to show up for a scheduled game without prior notification at least 48 hours in advance or without having any valid reason to do so.
When an infraction occurs, the Association President will be notified and sent an email outlining the details along with the amount fined. All fines must be paid to the Baseball Alberta office by cheque, credit card, or e-transfer within 30 days of notification.
